Tania San Nicolás

Institutional Strengthening Strategist

Tania San Nicolás is an institutional strengthening and communications strategist for the social sector, with a solid track record in operational design and fund management for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). She is the creator and administrator of Fondos y Convocatorias, a platform dedicated to professionalizing the search for funding and connecting organizations with real growth opportunities.

Throughout her career, Tania has led the mobilization of more than 19 million pesos for social impact projects. She has been a key player in regulatory milestones, including the creation of the State Law for the Promotion of CSOs in Hidalgo, Mexico. Her experience includes the operational management of government grant programs, coordinating comprehensive processes from drafting calls for proposals to auditing and closing resources.

As a communications expert, she served as liaison for the UNESCO Learning Cities Network. She led the validation strategy for a Guinness World Record in a cultural impact project involving more than 1,250 artisans. Her approach combines strategic design discipline with data intelligence precision, helping organizations transition from urgency-based operations to long-term financial sustainability.

Tania holds a Master's degree in Journalism and Digital Communication from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design with a specialization in Strategic Advertising. Her mission is to democratize access to financial information and equip social leaders with the technological tools needed to scale their impact across Latin America.
